Have to assume Sutter easing them in incrementally as they earn his trust. Phillips has not looked out of place at all from what I have seen.

Yup but I have more of an issue with what Kadri did. He passed so late that the shooting option for Dube was not great as he was too up close. At that point when he passed, he should have shot it instead.
If you would be passing, pass it sooner so that Dube has time to look at the goalie and Kadri is still an option for a one timer. By passing it late, Kadri achieves neither of those options

You can tell Phillips is making the simple plays out there. Surprisingly when he is in a board battle he is holding his own and not losing them. He is at least causing a commotion along the boards with others coming in to battle to help out.
