Not seeing the first part here which is fine with me. I did expect he would have more prominent role in gaining the zone and maintaining possession though. This team doesn't have a ton of puck carriers.
As far as production, he did seem to be good for 0.5 points a game in FLA. I would take something close to that.

The entire Panthers style of play outside of a few players like Barkov was high risk/high reward. He wasn't unique in that regard.
I do see him jumping up in the rush more lately, and it's likely that he was learning the system and perfecting his own end before Darryl would give him the rope to do that. He will start taking more risks, and yes, he will make some mistakes by doing that along the way. He's still incredibly good at denying entry and exiting his zone quickly. He's only going to get better from here.
I think that in this system he could produce somewhere between 35-50 points. I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than that, but that's still pretty good.

Huberdeau is making some crazy passes, but guys are not a position to receive them. They fumble and bumble the puck and its one and done. Watch the game on Saturday a lot of tape to tape passes that if guys have their sticks on the ice they can shoot but they are late to receiving the pass.

Yeah the comparisons to Brodie are bang on I think. Weegar has more than Brodie offensively and is also better defensively I think. Brodie beats him in smooth skating.

No Weegar, and no Lindholm tonight, as per Hockey Central.

Oof. That's not ideal.
Wonder if we see Ruzicka/Zahorna/Phillips now, assuming Backlund slides up.

Damn, I was hoping to see Kadri with Huberdeau. I guess it doesn't make sense to break up Kadri's line though.

I was hoping for that as well.
Surprised Lucic didn't slide back into the lineup with the injury, speaks to how Sutter feels about him right now.

More interested in how the forward lines get ice time.
