			Leafs 5 Flames 4 (OT)
- Flames in penalty trouble all night including another call in overtime
- Vladar solid in getting the Flames a point
- Phillips pointless but led all skaters in xGF%
- They may have something in Zahorna
- Stone another rough night

Who slots in should Stone get scratched?
I get the feeling there is zero confidence in Mackey. I'm actually surprised he is still with the big club instead of Gilbert who is a little cheaper.

The Montreal game is important IMO.

They don't have that guy.

Coming into camp with the assumption that Mackey was more ready ... didn't seem like they had a huge issue with Kylington MIA.

Now with Mackey not the answer (to date) and Valimaki gone they're in a hole.

Stone had some unreal results early but you knew that had to level out.

Maybe it's time to do the Gilbert Tanev thing again, Weegar has struggled on this trip, maybe get him back to Zadorov.

Yes I could see that. Meloche is in the mix but I think he also disappointed in camp. His price tag is similar to Mackey.

We'll see if they fly Gilbert out to Montreal. If they do, you'd think Mackey gets sent down.

Didn't like 2 of those he gave up, though he also made a couple really nice saves.

I thought Markstrom was much better against CBJ than Vladar was last night.

QoC obviously different as well.

He was fine 5v5. 3 ppg. If that's an 'off' night for him, thats not so bad.

For someone who finds every reason to defend most Flames surprised you just post a sv% and dont look at the bigger picture.

Stone is awful and Weegar and Tanev have zero chemistry it's time for a change.

Yeah I pointed out he had a 2 and change expected goals against, and that he had a weak one against Nylander
But was key in keeping the game tied in the last 10 minutes of the third.

Not a star turn for sure.

I have said he has been great almost every game... didn't think last night was very good. Coach felt the same way.
