Great game by the Flames. Why bother watching when playing Toronto though? A team of Neymars, and willing refs. A great game ruined with many silly penalty calls.

Every game, I have hope that Huberdeau will rise up and take control of a game. At the least be a catalyst. He was one tonight, albeit a catalyst for a loss.

Thankfully he is making less than 6 this year. Next year, at that 10m salary, it will be an albatross. Unless he figures his s*** out. What an utter disappointing player this year.

Remember when the flames were up in the 3rd and Anderson decided to stroll the puck around his own zone.

This isn't the year, team kinda sucks.

4th line is a massive improvement… Phillips looked good, didn’t get much ice with all the pks. Vladar was awesome. 2nd PP looked like it could be very good.

Good I will because the officiating was brutal.

There was no way they would have held that 4-3 lead but yeah Rasmus was an ass during that shift.

They needed another 2 goals.

I don't even know why he was on the ice to start overtime.

The officials/NHL/Leafs deserved that outcome.

Yeah a few elite pieces but they aren't going far again this year. I'd love to meet them in the playoffs if I was a fan of an Eastern team.

Despite the loss, I'm feeing much better about the team now than I did 24 hours ago.

Phillips BELONGS on this team. He was one of the best Flames tonight playing against one of the best teams in the league.

Rosie is the best forward on this team. It's time for Darryl to realize it and give him ice time accordingly. 10 minutes is unjustifyably low.

Flames top line needs to figure things out. Huby just doesn’t fit into this system. At his price tag he needs to bring much much more. Even if you take away his bad penalty it doesn’t excuse his poor play (and the rest of that line) 5 on 5.

Sutter was right and took a lot of heat when he demoted him to line 3 and said something along the lines of “well we’ve tried every other line and it hasn’t worked.” Really needs to figure out his game because he is not playing to the level of his contract which is very concerning.

It wasn't a terrible game, but the Flames just look like a lunch pail team - no exciting talent, no creativity, and just getting by with whacking away at it.

They lack star players, and the main guy who should be the star player gave away the extra point three seconds into OT.

SPEED SPEED SPEED. This team lacks it. The Leafs aren't overly quick either and it was easy for them to close gaps. Till that's addressed we have no shot.

The Flames almost beat one of the hottest teams in the league on the second half of a back to back with questionable at best officiating. They also have 3 call-ups playing good and looking like they will get more ice time. I see all the over the top negativity is coming out but there was a lot to like tonight.

Somehow got a point

I’m back to blow it up mode. I don’t think this team can beat anyone over a seven game series right now. Hanifin/Tanev/Toffoli, get something for these guys before they’re UFAs. Lindholm could bring a haul too.
What PP? I'll take 50% on the PP any night.
