The team completely stunk yesterday, except for Markstrom.

It's okay to say Markstrom played well last night but the rest of the team has put in a much better effort tonight. That's the difference.

Vladar stopped a breakaway a minute into tonight's game.
Besides who is quoted as "I suck at hockey"... he knows and i'm sure the team knows

Blaming the best player for the Flames last night is a hot take. Very edgy.

I’m watching the game on APTN. I enjoy the energy and vibrancy of the pbp guy. I don’t understand any of it but it’s better than the typical Sportsnet drivel.
Refs have been brutal tonight. Double standard NhL reffing. That Coleman breakaway was a bad non call that directly led to a goal the other way. Do these refs have any conscience or are they just happy somebody noticed they were around? Are they waiting for a milk bone from Gary after the game?
Leaf’s have been controlling the play. A 3-1 pp advantage will do that. Our one PP was ugly again.
Our defence has been an adventure all season. Rough to see Tanev turn it over then have the deflection go in off him.
Stone is too slow out there. I think he needs to sit for someone else. His Elvis dust has disappeared and he now looks more like slow ride out there. In a fast league like this he seems to be a liability.
Flames have been lucky but they can win this game.
The Toronto Tugeyes! That’s what I’m gonna call them.

Flames would have stole a point if the ref wasn't blind and it's 100% because of Markstrom.

have you missed most of the games this year? How many times has Markstrom let in goals in the opening mins of games?
You don't think that affects the team?

Ya. Markstrom was not the issue last game that’s for sure. It was the D. However I do feel like the team still plays harder in front of Vladar. They just feel more willing to keep pushing if they are down or if it is a tight game.

It’s been an entertaining game. Hopefully the good guys come out and earn the W in the 3rd!

Flames have been the better team. Unlucky not to have another goal when Toronto was tired and pinned.

Nobody has mentioned the PP2 with all the kids on it? I was stoked to see a fresh look and thought they did a great job.

Are we still trading Hanifin? Or is that hot take bandwagon lost a wheel too?
