Backs was pretty rough with the lumber in that board battle, and then offered a cross check to the puck carrier once it broke.... didn't have to be called, but Backlund's gotta be smarter than that.

Leafs cross-checked a flames player night in the numbers at the redline before the the puck even got to him, no call, despite the weak Matthews dive earlier. Now they call another cross-check on us.
