Lol, what?
He has cut in and drawn fouls in dangerous positions about 3-4 times.
There's a reason England keep trying to work it down that side and play that match up.

For me he looks flat footed and not sharp today but appreciate it's subjective. He keeps stopping on the ball, gotta stay in motion. Foden looks sharper to me

Nope. He has had the ball 3x as many times as foden and gave the ball away a bunch leading to transitional attacks just happened again. Earlier in the tournament I was ragging on southgate for pulling him from the lineup for rashford after his 2 goal game. Which seemed to spark rashford in that 2nd half lol. See if same happens for saka

England need to switch sides imo going at rabiot and hernandez doesn't make a lot of sense yet they seem to be focused on the right

England were pretty bad until the goal, but have been better since. Still moving the ball too slowly, need Foden in midfield, he's being wasted out wide.

The ball is going to Saka repeatedly for a reason and yes he's not going to get inside or draw a foul every single time, but he has easily been the most threatening plan of attack for England in that half.
It's also not easy to be open for that transition ball, which is what Saka is doing well and Foden is struggling to do so far.
His team is going to him for a reason.

Hopefully they can spread it out to the left more for Foden too, but that's just a really weird take to suggest the guy getting the most receptions of the ball in offensive positions is playing awful.
I had to assume it was a club homerism take as it's just so objectively bad.

It's a subjective take we all watch the game and see different things. We're on a sports forum that's the point. I don't know how any of our opinions can be objectively wiser or better than others

He didn't do #### with all the possession they fed him and while i thought it wS a foul he gave the ball away for the goal. Time to switch up the plan of attack imo

Saka is not the issue with the attack though, its having three midfielders who aren't very creative out there. Bring Rashford on out wide and put Foden in midfield.

Pretty clear which French defender England should be running at.
