11 of those 12 goals from line 2 were scored by one player, and 7 of those were generated by one or both of the two top players from line 1.

That's 65 total Goals, tonights Flames line-up:
Huberdeau (4) - Lindholm (9) - Toffoli (8) - 21 goals
Dube (5) - Kadri (9) - Mangiapane (6) - 20 Goals
Ruzicka (6) - Backlund (5) - Coleman (4) -15 Goals
Lucic (0) - Rooney (0) - Lweis (4) - 4 Goals
Total goals = 60. If Ritchie is in the line-up over Rooney he adds 5 to equal the Oilers high flying offense.

I love how Oiler fans seem to think that this poor kid has any trade value at all.
They'd be lucky after today to get a 5th round pick for him.

He’s not even worth Future Considerations. Team worst +/- at -12.

It's actually 26 games for him. 1 goals and 5 assists.
I don't think he will ever become the type of point producer that a #4 overall pedigree would suggest, but he should be in that 0.5 PPG area and his past production indicates that he can be.
I don't watch a lot of Oilers games, but when I do, it always seems like he is a hard worker but lacks positional awareness. Some players are just dumb that way, but others need the right kind of coach. There is a good chance that he just hasn't had the right teachers in Edmonton where the inmates historically run the asylum.
At 24 years, it isn't too late for JP to turn it around, but the clock is ticking on him. Change of scenery candidate if there ever was one. The right thing to do would be for the Oilers to just move him for whatever they can get, for the sake of the player. Similar to what the Flames did with Bennett. Of course, the Oilers never do the morally right thing.

Holland couldn’t get a second rounder for him all summer yet signed Pool party to a $3 million dollar contract?

Woody has a bad team, that is badly made. If they are down at any point in the game, he will trot out the wonder twins with someone (usually Hyman until the criminal is back) and play them for 2 minute shifts because he has no other options.
Coilers are no good.

Maybe if the Oilers ate $2.25 million, someone would take the weirdo on a NHL minimum salary equivalent.
Guy's a weirdo... even by Edmonton Oilers Weirdo Standards.

Puljujärvi + 1st for a 5th, may be.
Flames has to add a 1st to Monahan for future con.

The Karlsson rumours are hilarious. His contract is atrocious and will go down in history as one of the worst. But all things considered he’s having a hell of a season and is playing like an 8 or 9 million dollar man. There will be a team out there that can fit him under the cap with only a small portion retained. If at all depending on the package going the other way. And that sure as hell isnt the Oilers. Someone like Buffalo, Detroit, Ottawa, NYI, New Jersey all have assets and could make it work. Oh and they’re all up and coming teams with a bright future. Not a cap strapped dumpster fire relying on cherry picking and power playing their way to wins.

But the Oilers would say no to that trade? LOL

What's funny is that if the Oilers managed to swing a trade for him, he wouldn't even have the worst contract on that team, or on that blue line. While his contract is more, he's twice the D man that Nurse is.
