First 0-0 game of the knockouts where one team essentially seemed to set out to squeek through in penalties and parked the bus from minute 1. Nice drama in the pens but easily the least action of any knockout game. No other knockout game has had less than 2 goals.

We'll see what happens in the last game, expect switzerland may try and do the same but I do expect them to show a little more bravery going forward than Morocco did.

I meant the part about their fans and players not being Moroccan.

I would say most passionate group of fans at the world cup, I dunno anything about where they are from but assuming Morocco lol... lots of credit there though as noted above I find the whistling to be very vuvuzela like, obnoxious and lame, even worse when their team barely has the ball. Love their passion and some of their songs are great. I don't mind the whistling late in games when teams are killing the clock but playing park the bus and whistling from the start is just a terrible combo

On the team, the majority of their group are ethnic Moroccans who were not actually born, raised or trained in Morocco.

Spain has now lost 4 world cup shootouts, a new record, surpassing Italy who lost 3 in a row, 1990, 1994, 1998. And England, 1990, 1998, 2006.

Amazing out of the now 32 shootouts in world cups, only two ever went to the 6th shooter and none more. The first ever shootout, the famous France-West Germany one on 1982 and Sweden-Romania in 1994.
