That’s the Monahan I don’t miss in the d-zone, who is he covering when Zadorov is walking in there?
For a guy who’s always in perfect position on offense he never knows where to be on defense.
Also, I’d like to see Huberdeau and Ruzicka on the same line somewhere, Ruzicka is getting to good spots.

On average, Markstrom is easily better than Petersen. The problem is the boneheaded plays Markstrom has been making.
Flames should just run with Vladar at this point. Let Markstrom work the door for a few weeks.

if tre hasn't been on the phones for the last month, looking for possible goalies he should be canned, lots of time left in the season we find a better number 1 and salvage the season. I don't think Marky is going to come back to form

Tell him his NHL contract involves him riding the wranglers team bus, even though you can't assign him to that team. His NHl job is a bus attendant for the minors. If he doesn't commit, terminate his contract.

Apparently pointing out the truth is a worthy of scorn. I still think they likely had to play him here. Vladar has never been a full time starter so I wouldn’t want to play him more than 50 games anyway. Would be concerned of wearing him out. So unless they go full LA and dfa/Smith the guy and bring up Wolfe yeah I don’t see much happening. Markstrom will play and he will continue to suck. And it won’t translate well to the team because no one likes playing scared in front of a goalie they can’t trust.
