Those have been the rules for as long as I remember. Obviously you can’t use the crossbar for high sticks that aren’t close to the net, because you don’t have that reference.

The shoulder height is obviously very subjective, and therefore it’s hard to challenge on that basis.

3 on 3 OT and shootouts are jokes. Regular season is a joke.

Tkachuk double teams an Oiler in OT then falls down. Brilliant!

9 seconds. All you have to do is tie up your men. Drag em down if you need to. Florida ####ed it. And now the hype train is fully shoved down our throats. We are all so lucky to watch the most amazing team in the history of sports playing right now. And called by hall of Fame announcer monster truck Michaels.

That’s why Tkachuk never played in OT for Sutter.

Not a great skater.

I don’t think that sportsnet showed the oilers goals enough.

Now the big question, can a well rested Flames team do the same and beat a tired Panthers team tomorrow?

First home game back from a long road trip is always difficult, mentally.

Every game now seems like a must win.

Weird. I remember debates in the '17 playoffs against Anaheim that a goal was under the crossbar. I'm guessing because it was a deflection?

the puck didn't deflect into the net from the stick there , it just knocked it to the ice then was sent out into the slot and then shot in

that's why it wasn't evaluated like a tipped goal .. was evaluated for a missed stoppage

That one when off the stick and in...this one didn't lead directly to a goal
