is being a physical deterrent in scrums worth the lackluster on ice play ? not sure if it is these days

The only problem with that is you can take it to the bank that the production isn’t coming.

Dump and turnover hockey.

Side note: Tkachuk almost has the same points as Kadri and Lindholm together. Or triple the points as Huberdeau.

And yet, the Panthers aren't in a playoff spot.

More depressing: Sean Monahan has more goals and assists than Huberdeau.

Dube also showed quite a bit of chemistry with Toffoli last year. I wouldn't oppose that at all.

The way I'd like to see the lines if we take out the blender:
29 91 73
10 28 88
22/63 11 20
17 22/63 24

The other idea I had assuming Ruzicka is back on the first line:
63 28 73
10 91 29
88 11 20
17 22 24

56% cf and outshooting 16-6

if you actually have an issue with the kind of hockey played that period by the Flames you might need to re evaluate

they just need finish / a couple second chances . that's it

having a line or two of all skill players might help with that but the coach is going to play his 4 d chess

“We’ve got really good goaltending”

That, to this point in the season, is a lie.

maybe if they start saying the goaltending is middling or mediocre then it will help by alleviating the pressure on the goalies

every time we declare we are elite or good at a position it falters

usually it's the d

In my opinion the Hanifin - Andersson pairing continues to be the weak link defensively.

Zadorov - Weegar, xG% - 92.8
Hanifin - Andersson, xG% - 25.3
Gilbert - Tanev, xG% - 97.6

It makes me want to see Hanifin - Tanev again, but I don't know what to do with the rest of the pairings.

sometimes i think that Rasmus would make a better forward

he's usually either producing or a detriment . good thing he produces a lot
