I'm sure there will be some more brilliant COVID policy. Here's some incoherent ramblings from Paul Alexander, who Smith wants to advise Alberta on COVID policy:
The question is, where is the uncensored scholarly debate on this, this that is happening right before our eyes? Where are the virologists and immunologists and vaccinologists? Why leave it to novice immune and virology scientists like me? Why are you silent and only expert scientists like Bridle and Vanden Bossche are left to raise concerns. Why? What were you paid for your silence?
Open your eyes, dumbass, they all disagree with you. Just stop. Like, he admits there are experts, and he is a novice, yet he claims that his conclusions are correct?
"Look, NASA, you will never get to the moon pointing a rocket into the sky when the moon is orbiting the opposite side of the planet. How stupid is that? Aiming the wrong direction! You need to point the rocket down for it to work, you morons!"
One of my favourite pastimes on Facebook (don’t come at me) is watching two friends *fight. One is a UCP MLA and another is an NDP supporter and UCP hater who, to my knowledge have never met. She mocks and hammers the MLA friend constantly. They don’t know the pleasure they give me.

*she fights, he ignores her.
A UCP MLA who is smart enough to turn the other cheek and keep his or her mouth shut? your friend is a unicorn.
Even though it's a friend, I hope they lose their job next election.
This is what blind ideology gets you. Ridiculous regulations that don't make sense.
We all should have learned something from the first 18 or so months of Covid about illogical rules like having to wear a mask from a restaurant door to table but sitting maskless once at the table.
Has someone read the proposed legislation/order to see if it exempts it for CTS activities? Does the order even exist yet or is it just a statement at this point.?

Straight form the King's printer:

5.1 An operator may not deny a child access to an early childhood services program if the child does not wear a face mask or other face covering for the primary purpose of preventing or limiting the spread of COVID‑19 or any other communicable disease, as defined in the Public Health Act.
So what you are saying from the quoted portion is that it doesn’t prevent the mandatory wearing of ppe for CTS classes which is the opposite of what your previous post stated.
Though ECS is usually pre-k I think though not quite the right section.

Correct. See, fact checking works! As to your second bit, those were the only 2 posted yesterday. So not sure why it is limited to ECS.
Honestly, this is the kind of "won't someone think of the children?!?!" that is so annoying. We all know that the masks in question aren't the ones kids are wearing for autobody or welding. Literally no none is suggesting that, and frankly if a teacher can't figure out that a person shouldn't welding without proper safety equipment, I don't want them teaching my children to begin with.

FFS, totally. Don't be stupid. Smith has an axe to grind with Covid restrictions as we all know. Dispute that if you feel so inclined. Good arguments to be made. But don't be a tit - of course you need PPE to weld. Just so dumb.

So, a letter sent from the new CMOH for Alberta sent a letter to the CBE. I think we may be getting another CMOH very soon.

Using a well-fitting, high quality mask is encouraged, especially in crowded indoor settings. Wearing a mask can help reduce your risk of becoming sick and help protect others from being exposed. Individuals should be supported regardless of their choice to mask or not
