Ronaldo turned them down, Messi said yes

Saudi Arabia potentially knocking him out of a world cup is incredible
Pretty Boy sold his soul to Qatar and has promoted this WC.

Messi is just positioning himself to be Beckham 2.0 in his retirement.

Argentina with Messi never fails to disappoint, but this is something else. I wish this was the 12 games, when I saw the score when I woke up, I couldn't stop laughing.

Mexico have seemed like the better team, Poland have no pace. Everything they do is slow and plodding and Mexico get into a rhythm the Poles struggle to deal with them.

Poland's only shot in anger in 87 minutes was a penalty.

Did something die in Lewandowski when he missed that PK?

A lot of things have died in Lewandowski of late.

This is much, much better from Poland but you cant just play the last 5 minutes of extra time and hope for the best.

I should say, it wasnt a poorly taken penalty, it wasnt perfect or unsaveable, but it wasnt crap.

It was an excellent save.

With the group C results today, Saudi Arabia advances to the knockout round with a win in either of their two remaining games.

Yeah, I place that one more in excellent save territory than poorly taken kick.

Faked Lewendowski out, then made the strong leap.

Two wins will always get you through, no matter the results of the other matches in your group.

3 teams can win 2 games if one team loses all 3.

Apparently that's the third straight missed penalty for Poland in World Cup play... cursed.
