Wow. Triggered.
I'm also happily married but it's not the end all, be all of my life. And I wouldn't be happily married if my wife pressured me to move cities to live in a mediocre city where my career upside was limited and I took a pay cut to be there lol. Would you? What a raw deal lol. We actually did the exact opposite in our life and we're pretty happy.
I actually love johnny. I feel bad for him because he made a terrible choice, but only have fond memories of his time here. If you understand human nature, you come to the conclusion that there's a 90% chance he's going to be like "Michael, I've made a huge mistake" at some point in the next year or two.

Even weirder to still be posting that theory when multiple posters with sources keep explaining that she wanted to stay here in Calgary.

They chose Columbus because the school busses there don’t have a flashing light on top.

This is true, according to MoneyPuck. Quite resoundingly so. Despite some of the exceptional anecdotes.

You don't have any admirers and don't confuse brilliance with arrogance.

It was actually because the Oilers have 20, but you be you. If it has anything to do with the Flames, I would have said 19.
The idea that Columbus is less dedicated to winning than the Flames (or any other team) is laughable. I have seen nothing to suggest that they are less dedicated to trying to win. Which means Johnny went to a team that is trying to win.

I think in the last decade there might be as many slow starting cup winners as those that stormed out of the gate

The Blues weren't in a playoff spot by new years and won the cup

The most recent and one that jumps out at me as the worst offender is Connor McDavid and isn’t close. Doesn’t give two rips about winning, just cares about his personal stats. 35 pts and a +2 for the year in 19 games. That’s almost an impossible feat to be that bad defensively

Lol only 30 points between the team Gaudreau left and the one he joined
The point is at the very height of his prime he chose to go with a 30 point worse team that isn't even a playoff contender let alone a cup contender.
