Holloway is an average prospect at best. This is all on Holland who has been a terrible GM for a decade now.

Reminder that Lowe bowed away from the organization fairly quietly (certainly quietly for his massive ego) over the summer.
Unlike when he got pushed to the shadows when Chia and McLellan came on (and resurfaced when he got back in Katz' good books and basically took over from Chia (Koskinen signing)), this one seems legit and he's not still in the background as he was before.
IMO I think it's because with the issues that Katz and his casting couch have, and the Hockey Canada connection he has, he figures some heat or things he knows or is implaicated in with one of those situations, would be more likely to be coming his way if he stayed in an official capacity, so he exited stage left quickly.

It would be one thing if Holloway had been playing lots of hockey for the last few years, and was now getting 8 minutes a night for a month of so while he learns how to be an NHLer.
But that is not the case at all. He has not played more than 35 games in a season, since he was an Okotoks Oiler in 18/19. That was his 17 year old season.
