The problem isn't fans being critical, it's the endless whinging and hyperbole.

There is a difference between critical of the game and ridiculous takes like calling careers over, coaches fired, season done in November ect.

I find the volume of posts on a message board to be overwhelming for some. And that gets conflated as some tidal wave of toxicity. Really it's just a bunch of people saying stuff and you just scroll past the crap and enjoy the good stuff. Scrolling is easy.

God help me if my daily enjoyment and mood was ever affected by words typed on a sports team message board. You gotta take it casually and not seriously at all or it's probably better not to be here.

In fairness, most teams don’t have the talent to score 4 goals every game. They have scored 5 or more in 4 games this year and are 4-1 in those games. In the games that they needed to score 4 goals or more they are 3-9 (Assuming they lose tonight). There were 4 games that they did not need to score at least 4 goals. So 75% of the time they will need to score 4 goals in a game to win. Which makes sense because their goalies let in 3.31 goals per game.

Honestly at this point I’m all for calling up Wolf. Tired of the Flames being out-goaltended every single game.

That’s a penalty…but honestly I don’t see other teams get that called against them when down by 2 in the third.

That's completely fair, the season isn't over and Sutter isn't getting fired. But a rational look at Markstrom's play this year and he is obviously a bottom 5-10 goalie in the league right now. He is actively losing games for the Flames.

The most painful thing of it all is that it was the Oilers that broke Markstrom.

Dude was awesome against Dallas, and has been hot garbage ever since. Baffling collapse.
