Yep, he's a great speaker. Easy guy to cheer for.
Well, except for tonight.

I’m a weird kind of flames fan where I want the 4th liners playing 4th line minutes on the 4th line

I agree. I think it’s because it’s just not a good mix of forwards.
I hope at some point we see Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman reunited. That was a very good line. They then need to build a quality line using three of Huberdeau, Lindholm, Kadri, and Toffoli…but I just don’t think there’s enough skill in that group to compete with the better teams in the league over 82 games. Tough spot to be in.
…and personally, it’s just really hard to watch this team struggle and battle to maintain a .500 brand of hockey. We’ve just seen so much of that over the years.

Awful game for CGY but not likely to be indicative of any future trends. Try to get it back in the third but at this rate it's a game you burn the tape on.

Hmm maybe in the first but they were fine in the second.
They were 72% scoring chances, and 60.6% xGF in the second. Problem is their best chances probably fell to Lewis and Ritchie, which isn’t generally a good recipe for a goal.
Not generating enough quality for sure but Tampa is pretty good at limiting that too.

Crikey, agree to disagree I guess. They aren't lighting the world on fire, but run over? I guess I'm watching a different game.

Inexcusable usage from Sutter.
Lewis directly responsible for the goal against and gets more ice time than usual tonight
|
Yeah, things are certainly not going well on this front. Usage is a big problem. Huberdeau - Backlund - Lewis? Literally no one drew it up that way.
I hope we see the blender here in the 3rd.
Show me Huberdeau - Lindholm - Toffoli. Sure, it hasn’t worked yet, but this team NEEDS them to sort it out.

This is premature but there are lot of knowledgeable fans questioning his decisions lately.

This game sucks.
I’ll donate $40 to CP if the flames win..

I agree , they are playing pretty good , but just don’t have the killer instinct or the skill to put the puck in the net 29-17 shots on net

That Andersson shot is the problem.
Team is swarming all over the zone…and that’s the shot chosen. It’s just a waste of time.
It’s only two goals, Flames need to start attacking the net.
