Just wanted to update to say that I cannot get enough of this song:
Say Anything - Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too!
Very original sounding song.

New Young Pony Club - "The Bomb" (not only does this band rule, but they also have a hot keyboardist. I am kicking myself because I could have seen them play at a festival I went to but only discovered them after the fact.)
!!! - "All My Heroes are Weirdos" and "Must Be The Moon"

Can't stand the new Incubus album, any of it. I was very disappointed. i expected more after Crow Left of the Murder. That was a really good disc, and this one was really a flop in comparison. No creativity, IMO. Just weak.
And Incogneto, you say you're a longtime Finger Eleven fan. But Paralyzer sounds nothing like any of their previous stuff. In fact, I'd put it in a completely different gender. And I don't think it's the natural progression of the band as musicians. It just seems like they said "hey, everyone likes songs about the club nowadays. We should write a Finger Eleven dance song about drinking and screwing. That will bring in some money."
Again, just IMO, but I really can't understand how they transformed into Franz Ferdinand so fast.

And that is about the funniest thing I have seen on the Ronnie Johns Half Hour, usually the show sucks.

Did you ever listen to Incubus BEFORE 'Crow'? Every one of their albums have had a different sound. 'Crow' was a child to the their previous 4 albums (If you include 'Fungus')....It has been, by far, their worst album to date.
As for Light Grenades, it has the same problem as the new finger 11 album...Evolution of the bad. It is less rock, and the part that gets me, less funky. Incubus has always thrived on their Funk rock mentality...and if you don't believe me, you need to go listen to S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself again.
Bottom line is that in my opinion, Crow Left of the Murder was a horrible CD.

As for finger11, yeah, I realize these last 2 albums have been focused more on the mainstream than their previous 2. That is why Tip and 'Greyest of Blue Skies' will NEVER leave my iPod, where their self titled album was peeled off long ago.

Correct. I read this on their site a couple days ago:

! ! ! is pronounced by repeating thrice any monosyllabic sound. Chk Chk Chk is the most common pronunciation, but they could just as easily be called Pow Pow Pow, Bam Bam Bam, Uh Uh Uh, etc.

Myth Takes is another great album. I heard about it, of all places, on the Mens Health Website. It IS great to workout to though.(Sorry I'm derailing this thread...it's songs, not albums)
