Darn it, that was a chance for Felix to go up a double break in set 2.
Edit: Felix saves a break game in his next service game and maintains a two game lead in set 2.

One service hold is all that Felix needs, but hey if he wants to break Rafa to win the match, I'm fine with that as well.

Yes!! Felix closes it out 6-3 6-4. High quality match from FAA today, backhand was so much better today.

Novax gets a Visa for the Oz open.
Hopefully he gets bounced in the 1st round.

Fritz just did his best Boris Becker imitation with a dive volley winner on break point.

How would tiebreakers work if Fritz wins today and then Felix beats Fritz to set up a 3way 2-1 tie?
Is the fact this match went 3 sets helpful for Felix?

It's relevant, I believe the first tiebreaker in a 3 way tie is the percentage of sets won. EDIT: I think it actually hurts Felix.

Ruud was up 5-1 in this third set tie-break and also up 6-4, now it's 6-6 as they change ends.
Edit: Ruud takes it 8-6 in the third set tie-break and advances to the semi-fjnals as the winner of the Green Group.

Irrelevant!
Win on Thursday and Felix is into the Semis.
Well done Ruud. Tight finish.

You wonder now if Rafa takes the court on Thursday for a meaningless match (well ranking points are available). Ruud vs. Rune could be quite spicy.

A rude Rune could ruin Ruud’s chances this weekend.

Djokovic looks in sublime form as he advances to the semi-finals 6-4 6-1 over Rublev.
