For God's sake score some ENs
If Lewis makes a play there, the game ends 7-4

Calgary is third overall averaging 10.6HDCA per game behind NJ and Boston. Sure there have been some glaring defensive lapses but that happens to all teams. The flames are a stingy defensive team.

I said low chance, not low scoring. A goalie clinic it was not.

Honestly they're playing a pretty good team game right now. With some puck luck, and a few saves, this is a dominant hockey team. The luck will turn around. Will the goaltending? That's my only concern.

Just got home from the Dome. As I was driving, I did listen to Huska on the radio saying that games must be won 3:2 and that letting 5 in is not gonna win you much in this league... blah-blah-blah... boring. It was a very entertaining game. Ups and downs, sure, some gasps at the last minute, yes, but still, this is entertainment. Loved the energy.

Oh look, someone said something negative about the Flames so #1 fanboy comes to the rescue. People's lives must suck even though you spend all your spare time on the forum defending the Flames everyday. Maybe go for a walk one of these days.
8 years old in junior high...smarter than the average bear I'd say.

No worries. It was a great episode. I agree with your takes especially re: Pelletier and the Wranglers in general.

Ruzicka now with 5 points in 5 games, and looked pretty good getting them.

He’s also helped wake up probably our most important forward in Lindy - and Toffoli is rounding out the line nicely. It’d be an awesome development if Ruzicka can grab that role and keep it. Ruzicka establishing himself as a scoring forward would be an absolute W for the organization/development system if it happens.

Huberdeau played 14:25
Kadri played 13:30
Mangiapane played 13:58

Ruzicka played 15:05
Lewis played 16:08
Backlund played 18:53

I know we don’t like to question the coach around here but what the hecks he smoking? I want some of that Viking, AB good stuff. Mans lost his mind in the whiskey.

I was screaming shoot at the game. I don’t care if you’re not at centre - it’s a two goal game, take the chance.

It’s just like last year early on in the season.

Last year we had too many games with 3 or 4 of Pitlick, Lewis, Lucic, Richardson, and Ritchie in the lineup.

This year we’ve had too many games with 3 or 4 of Rooney, Lewis, Lucic, and Ritchie in the lineup.

And that’s even considering that Ritchie and Lewis have been playing above expectations this year. Playing those guys in the top 9 just kills offensive lines. Last year we skated bye since the first line was elite.

Ideally you have at most two of those guys in the lineup at any time. If Ruzicka can replace one full that that would be huge. I honestly think that one of Phillips, Pelletier, Zary, or Schwindt should replace another by game 25.

Lucic is the one that needs to come out IMO, he’s trying hard but the skills have degraded even further IMO.
