Crazy what happens when you actually give your top offensive prospects time with other skilled NHLers instead of Lucic and Lewis and AHLers.

Maybe if there were games where you could give them those looks before the season actually started…

If only we had more guys on the farm that were just as dominant as Ruzicka…maybe they could be better top 6 forwards than Milan Lucic at this stage of his career.

Too bad Phillips and Pelletier are below 6 foot and don’t meet NHL height requirements.

Still a long way to go for him to be an impact player, but if he gets there I think lots of the credit should go to Sutter who seems to have him playing the right way and brought him along nice and slowly.

Ruzicka honestly never looked as good in the AHL as he does right now.

Markstrom strikes again.

Goaltending is the biggest weakness in this team this season.

Pelletier struggled but IMO Phillips was the best player in the last game he played in against Seattle.

And even then doesn’t mean he couldn’t have at least given them some time with the NHL group after their great seasons last year instead of being in the AHL group all camp.

Just give them some games and ice time with the NHLers. Good for them to see where they need to be too.

Nice play, and nice shot, but Markstrom needs to do better there.

Usually Markstrom doesn't collapse until the 10 minute mark of the third

That one is also not on Markstrom, but I just wish he saved some of those high danger chances like he did against the Jets.
