Biggest takeaway from that period is that the Flames capitalized on their quality chances. Damn that’s good to see.
Also, they didn’t fold after the refs conspired with Marky to make us all nervous early on…

Sutter was right, the right place for Rozie is top 9 winger, not 4C

Get home and check the score on my phone; 1 - 0 Flames. Sit down for dinner and check the score on my phone while I'm eating; 2 - 1 Kings. Come downstairs to put the game on; 4 - 2 Flames.
Have we been good or sloppy? What's the 1st period summary?

Thought it looked it Coleman caught an elbow to the head in the last 10 seconds there.

Play has been pretty even. One goal on a mistake by Markstrom. Flames have taken advantage of some bounces and opportunities.

The whole sequence of Ritchie's goal was just amazing. I love it, when guys like him (or Lewis last game) all of a sudden turn into a legit power forward for a shift it makes me so happy

I think Toffoli saw that Quick was out and shot it right away because the puck was closer to the middle of the net then the post.
Hrudey was more focused/obsessed with Durzie holding the boards and the blue line.

Yup. Quick is VERY aggressive, and really comes out of his net to challenge the shooter. Toffoli took advantage of that with the quick shot. The Oilers exploited the crap out of that in the playoffs last year.
When the defense is good, Quick is awesome because he really challenges the shooter. But if you have time to make a pass, you can make him look like a fool.
