Kind of felt like the Oilers series not the whole game but some of the chances, they count as high danger, but they felt more dangerous.

Once Tanev went down against Dallas our defensive play went downhill, and it went into the Edmonton series.

Or maybe it is just Markstroms poor play that makes every shot feel like it's a high danger chance.

Those numbers would include up the middle chances that missed the net.

I did, I liked his game and the dueling goalies was a hoot.

Liking Hartley makes me �� more than anything. The worst Flames coach since Greg Gilbert. He was the "old school" coach people think Sutter is - didn't adapt to the modern game, his teams consistently the worst in metrics like shot generation, shot prevention, scoring chances against. And all the bully aspects of well. The worst of both worlds!

For all we know Huberdeau told Sutter he thought it was funny. Or for all we know he told Sutter nothing and didn't care. You have absolutely no clue how Huberdeau took that comment and appear to making a mountain of a mole hill.

FWIW, I think Seravelli said that the comment didn't go over well in the locker room.

Dueling goalies is not good.

No structure and just "play harder" is also not a good system.

To say Sutter is a bad coach, and then in the same breath say you liked Hartley and his "game" is questionable.

To me it just sounds like you don't like coaches that prioritize defense, which is generally how you win in the NHL.

It's not like we play an overly defensive way anyways, I don't think prioritizing speed and shot volume and keeping the other team pinned is a defensive way of playing.

You are most definitely wrong, yup.
He’s playing the long game here. We’re expected to challenge for a cup. So in order to get the new guys and everyone else on the same page in short order, different tactics need to be made. He knows what he’s doing. He’s pushing certain buttons, trying to see what gets them to tick. Lucic playing on the 2nd line isn't going to last. He’s trying to make people buy in, as quickly as possible.
