Finally a game where I thought Mangiapane played well and was noticable. Great job bread!

almost every time flames are down 1 late in the 3rd, refs look for, and give us a penalty to seal the deal

really the last 5 games they have been great . just a lot of misfortune and a few late game gaffes . they made sure to give the Jets nothing in the 3rd tonight

Turns out Rick Ball and Tanev are the good luck charms! Both back, we are happy. Great win.

Thought this was Lindholm’s best game. Ruzicka having a hell of a night too playing with the big boys. I want this as a top 9 when Huberdeau’s back:

Huberdeau - Kadri - Mangiapane
Ruzicka - Lindholm - Toffoli
Coleman - Backlund - Dube

A real confidence booster for the team.

Marky comes up with the huge saves at the right time.

In Ball we trust.

And where in the fork did Lewis get those mitts. That was grade A dangle

Lewis' goal was nice, but he's still playing too much. Lucic on the PP and playing with Backlund and Mangiapane...

Treliving needs to do something to force Sutter's hand on overplaying fourth liners.

Marky looked really focused and you could see he was tracking pucks very well all night. First time this season where I really thought he shut the door. Neither goal was questionable in that regard.

Lindholm suddenly a factor... has he been slow starting before? Seemed like a different guy out there. Crushing faceoffs, in on goals. Responsible game.

Ruzicka as much as I love him, also showed a couple times why he's NOT top line material - good open shooting lane and whumpf right into the crest. It will be interesting to see how things go when Huberdeau comes back. I'm not sure if it's a natural thing, Huberdeau, Kadri and presumably mangiapane?

Anyway good hard working win tonight, two teams more of the blue collar style than the elite-talent end of things.
