Don't Worry Darling was pretty decent. I thought Florence was very good and carried the movie a bit. Still love that little pouting face she does in every Movie. lol The rest of the cast was decent. I'm not a fan of Harry Styles but he was ok in this. Loved the concept but I really think they could have done a lot more with it. I'll give it a solid 6.5/10.

I thought Don’t Worry Darling was awful. I’d read it’s like Stepford Wives meets Get Out but with Jordan Petersen incel vibes and that was totally accurate. It was like a really long, really boring and bad black mirror episode.

I liked it as well. Not my favorite Cronenberg flick overall, but I definitely give it an A+ for originality.

The Banshees of Inisherin is my film of the year so far. Farrell is excellent, delivering small moments of pain and sadness whilst not having the ability to understand or process what's happening to him. It's a very sad film, and yet it's full of laughs too. The whole cast is great actually. Keoghan is making quite the career of playing the shifty little bollix.
Hoping to see TAR this weekend. We need to get out and support more adult fare when we get it. Not enough of it gets made and gets theatrical releases.

What a pile of trash.
I'm going to bed stupider than I woke up this morning.

Never said I expected to learn anything. Your reading comprehension is on par with your movie tastes.

Thought it was absolutely awful as well. The ending being the worst part.

Just watched the new Jurassic Park movie. Wtf was that? The main plot point wasn't even about dinosaurs, it was about locusts. Also, what could possibly make people think allowing meat eating dinosaurs to free roam was a good idea? The cast was clearly calling it in too. How could they possible mess this up that bad.

Wakanda Forever was pretty good, solid entertainment, probably the most serious one in tone out of phase 4. Good acting, fun characters, good themes, pretty good action. Of course the need to boil all the good ideas into a reason for two superhumans to punch each other in the face for world peace it became a little "eh", but it is what it is. I'd still give it a 4/5, but that last point is all aesthetics, they're pretty much the best part of this Marvel-brand for me.
I would recommend it, but looking at the dedicated thread, I think I'm starting to be too young to talk movies on this forum. And I'm 45.

I'm not sure I follow your complaint. This thread is for movies in general, not just the latest releases.
Even then, most of the movies that get brought up are new, but I always appreciate people recommending classic or hidden gems
Edit: Oh, you meant the dedicated thread for Wakanda Forever specifically. I haven't read through it yet, so I'm not sure what the issue is. My mistake.
