We are dealing with a lot of injuries to key players and are struggling to get wins. They have played fine with some minor breakdowns in the last three games. Problem is here that while yes it’s a very long season, if we keep losing this quickly this could become a numbers game to make it to the playoffs.

A max of 138 points left to possibly win. Last year it was 97 points to get in, we currently have 12, meaning we need 85 to get in or a winning percentage of ~0.616 for the rest of the year as it stands now. Lose the next two that % goes up to .634

Last year we played the year at a clip of .677. To date I don’t think they have shown they are at that level so I do worry if this tough stretch lingers a bit too long, but the season definitely isn’t over yet and the team looks like it is close to turning the corner. It’s a tough stretch for fans because losing sucks and people can react how they want to a 7 game losing streak which is pretty bad in a nutshell. But it’s not over, and we will win again and likely based on PDO and other numbers this will be over soon and hopefully in our rear view mirrors.

Haha...yup. absolutely. He's transitioning to a completely new playing style and learning new teammates. I've watched him for years in Florida. He's elite as elite can be.

Do not stress. He'll get there.

They gotta try Phillips. Don't care about losing him on waivers, he's 24 and will be UFA.

The saddest thing for me is that the team clearly lacking a game breaker, yet I feel confident huberdaeu ain't the guy.

It was a nice try by treliving this summer, but this franchise just needs to give up trying, and just be in scorched earth rebuild mode.

Those open net misses are frustrating to me as a fan. Can't imagine being the shooter. Luckily they are still in every game and those have to start going in.

My concern is that the guys coming back don’t score goals. I think that problem is going to linger after goaltending and defensive zone coverage gets sorted out.

I miss around the league reports. And Zamler’s weather girl. And there used to be a meme with that fox and a gun smoking and she blows the smoke away.

Been so long since we won.

last guy I expected to do that after watching his last 2 seasons . disappointed
I didn’t get that at all.

He gave a bad interview because he’s a bad interview especially when it’s just run of the mill questions like Wills does with those pre game hits.

88 wanted nothing to do with the interview but I never got the sense he’s checked out of this team or not caring about playing better. Not even close.

Yep winning is so much better than losing and I got pretty used to winning last year. It's a bit frustrating watching these guys struggle right now because like I said, winning is so much better.

Just gotta remind myself

This team will not be last years team, no team will be last years team except last years team and they were awesome but not awesome enough to win a cup, so I don't want that team back.

This years team, no idea what they are yet but enough core members of the team were replaced that its a start from scratch scenario. Doesn't matter that 65% of the guys know the system because the system won't run right when 35% don't know it that's just too much of a gap.

It's going to take whatever amount of time it takes for these guys to develop the sixth sense chemistry that great lines have. The effort is there it's clear, the evenly allotted ice team to get everyone used to each other and the system is there, now it's just gonna have to cook until it's ready.

There is enough talent here that what's cooking is going to be good, that's not a concern, is it going to be great and will it be ready in time is what remains to be seen.

Mangiapane absolutely looks like a guy checked out you hardly notice him unless he's on the ice. I was always afraid paying as last year seemed like a fluke when everything went his way and it's looking that way.

Not right now. Who is our goal scorer. We don’t really have one.

Ritchie?

Guaranteed win night next game!

Both Pittsburgh and St Louis broke their 7 game losing streaks.

Down to a .962 PDO, below Columbus now and only above St Louis.

Generally the lowest in the league is around .975, it will come up eventually. Just have no luck right now and no goalies are giving them any softies

There’s a reason for that..

They generate a lot of shots from the outside. Until they get some shots from the red box, and get passes through that box they’re going to keep losing.

They fully earn their bad PDO.

Losing sucks. Just need to get that one win, and hopefully it’ll kick start their comeback. I still believe.

Honest, has there been a better team to lose 7 in a row? I can't remember a better Flames team in a losing streak like this.
