Yeah, it's going to take more than Philips to turn things around. The team needs Tanev back more than they need to call up Philips.

Dramatic much? They just lost a one goal game(plus a empty netter) to the best or second best team in the league where they played decent but couldn’t break thru.

Disaster is a term used for teams getting blown out of the rinks on a consistent basis. Teams that have no business being in games.

Calgary has played well for a lot of this losing streak. Outside of Nashville stinker, they’re right in it until the end.

Yes, expectations aren’t being hit right now but there is ample time to get this right. The efforts are there, the roster is good, the coach is good and this is likely to turn around.

“Disaster” and “disgusting” are laughable terms to throw out in November.

This is a team dealing with key injuries, inconsistent goaltending, terrible officiating, zero puck luck, insane strength of schedule, and missing wide open nets seemingly every night. Things will turn around for the better. All the doom & gloom posts tonight are ridiculous.

Not sure anyone thinks he is going to turn it around. That being said, he is definitely a better option to create offence than a couple of the forwards they have in right now.

Not gonna win a lot of games when Toffoli is your best forward and he was by a lot. He’s been good this year. Ruzicka should also be a regular as he at least has some skill. He usually can draw a guy in and make an accurate dish to another Flame who then has space to get a shot or make a play.

We need Huberdeau to start banking it in off guys cause everyone’s finish is junk.

Mangiapane has lost a step it seems too…

Okay. We’re not in big trouble. Things are looking up!

Huberdeau needs a sidekick we don’t have. He’s not going to carry his line or our team if people are hoping for that.

He’s Oates minus Hull.

Cali Panthers Fan. Are you able to put me at ease a bit about Huberdeau. I have never watched him and am wondering if he can be a game breaker.

Well, Darryl has lost 8 in a row only once as a head coach in 1994-95. Never more. I mean there is always room for improvement, of course…
