End the voting above 65 or whatever age cognitive decline kicks in and you won't live to see the fruit of your ####ty choices.

Yes, raise the voting age.

At 18 you can join the army and get killed for your country, but you can't drink a beer and, if those people had their way, can't vote either. Seems like a great idea.

And why stop at young voters? Let's ban women from voting again too. And any minority. Let's just keep going until it's just 25+ year old white men from rural areas. That should do it.

Better yet, only let 65+ vote.

I've always thought it funny that 18 year olds can vote, but they can't get organized enough to change the drinking age to 18 instead of 21. I know they would need support from other age groups, but if they all turned out or really pushed for it, I'm sure it could happen pretty easily.

Just make it so the only people who can vote are those who own title to real estate. Problem solved!

No, no, no. You’ve got to allow only corporations to vote for everyone’s best interests. They can call the legislation to make it happen Citizens United Part Deux.

You wanna vote? You gotta serve. Service guarantees citizenship and then everyone has a vested interest. It’s a flawless plan.

Seems like the kind of thing that should be in somebody's campaign to get out the youth vote. I imagine a candidate in a place with a large college population could do okay with that as part of their campaign.

Democratic strategy worked. Backed extreme candidates in primaries to make them easier to defeat in the general. Risky strategy but it worked. Thankfully. Last night was the best outcome. Moderate Republicans won handily (DeSantis and Kemp) and trumpers got destroyed. Hopefully that's a lesson for the R's.

4000 vote differential in the AZ Governor race. That is going to be really interesting and I wonder how long it will take to actually certify the results.

I don't know if I'd call DeSantis moderate. He's just Trump without the big mouth, he says the quiet parts quietly.

He just made a commercial saying he was anointed by god.

The lesson should be drop the idiotic social conservative garbage, and bring good ideas.

Damnit beaten to the punchline by Cecil

Still, I have seriously considered Heinlainian democracy before. We just need to find a way to avoid the most fascisty bits

With 95% of the votes in, Boebert trails by only 73 votes. I think this is definitely going into a month of recount and controversy
