Well looks like Georgia is headed to a runoff again. One can only hope the democrats take both AZ and NV so the runoff doesn't matter.

There is no run-off in PA. That is just a Georgia thing (and Louisana)

Dems chances in a runoff in Georgia are probably better if it's not for control of the Senate. Much easier to vote for Walker when it means control of the Senate, if it's essentially for nothing then it's easier to just not vote for him at all.

Go back in the thread and review the focus group article I posted. It seems that many Trump supporters see him as a liability and see DeSantis as the way forward.

We'll see. This dude projected the Dems will hold both the House and Senate.
Anyways, the Dems did flip a seat they weren't expected to.

That doesn't surprise me, but we also have to differentiate primary voters and general election voters. I still think Trump has more than enough support at the primary level to win. But in a 1v1 matchup DeSantis has a chance for sure, and his performance tonight shows that.

So to sum up what's going on, is it fair to say that it looks like Republicans will narrowly take the house, while the Senate could go either way?

Things could still change but it looks that way as of right now.

I just like that there is now an elected politician named 'Wiley Nickel.'
Because why not?

Basically. I'm slightly surprised how it's going for the Dems. Not a terrible night. Yet.
