And I thought all those move Tre made in the summer were to avoid a rebuild year.

May as well call up Phillips and give him a chance. Why not? Could use some speed and skill up front right now.
Although I'm sure it's easier to just give those minutes to Trevor Lewis, if Sutter wants to keep on Suttering.

Markstrom isn't taking this team anywhere. The Flames routinely are the better team and lose the goaltending matchup.
Even on nights where people want to pretend he's playing great he looks terrible. Huge rebounds, swimming, going down early.
He's completely rattled and playing him over and over again is just stupid.
Its win and you're in time. Make him actually earn his starts.

12 games in and already turning on the reigning Jack Adams winner?
Is this for real?

I'm just trying to be positive because anything can happen, a 5 game losing streak in November is far from being as bad as people are making it out to be.

Sort of... we need to lose 5 more, play the Russians and call up 23 year-old Mike Vernon.

Jack Adams works when your top line is the best in the league due to a lucky coincidence of pure chemistry and your main goalie is posting record shutouts before an old-age decline.
It doesn't work when Sutter reverts to his stubborn farmer routine of suppressing rookies and playing Trevor Lewis and vets every chance he gets.
Also, whatever happened to Vladar playing once a week?

Phillips is doing great right now on the farm, would be cool to give him a look in huby's position, do it while hes out.

They lost 6 of 8 last year at almost the exact same time of the season.
They were 8-3-5 after 16 for 21 points and really fat on OT losses.
They are 5-5-2 after 12 this year, so really not that dissimilar except for last year they got things to OT more often
