What a major disappointment Markstrom and Mangipanie have been this season. Markstrom has been costing the team at least a few wins this season already; and really this is continuing on from the Oilers series. Can't win when your goalie can't make the big moment saves when you need.
Think at this point, you go with the goalie that's got the hot hand. Hope Valdar can make good use of his next start. He could earn a lot more in short order if he does well.

My fault. Wasn't watching, turned it on just to see the 1-1 goal. Turned it off after 2-1 and saw they tied it so flicked back over literally the moment Hischier was scoring.
My bad folks.

- Trevor Lewis playing big minutes late in games while trailing
- Markstrom on the second night of a back to back when he's been consistently posting sub .900 SV%
- Phillips and Wolf rotting in the AHL
- No Kylington
- Ritchie and Lucic being good for a penalty a game
- Lindholm back to being Carolina Lindholm without Gaudreau to carry him
Man, this season sucks

Markstrom needs to be better simple as that.
20 shots against, 3 goals against.
High Danger Chances were 9-6 Flames
XG were 3.31 to 1.91, and we lose 3-2.
Finishing and goaltending is the issue right now.
