I think it would be more along the lines of channel enhancements and firmware updates, as well as (and I'm just speculating at this point) a multiplayer forum along the lines of Gamespy, to meet gamers to play online.

The Wii is also being redesigned slightly to stop people from putting mod chips in them...for a few months at least until they crack the new model and so forth. But the changes Miyamoto was talking about is not going to change the machine's performance, just push Nintendo more into the PS3 realm of game styles versus what they currently have. You'll probably get network gaming (like Xbox Live) and then more controllers for specialized games or sports, etc. The Wii probably has expansion capability somewhere (although I didn't look long enough on mine before I sold it) as every Nintendo system made since the 80s has had.

FYI,
I was at the sears outlet store on Saturday and they had 2 unopened boxes each of Marvel Alliance and Tony Hawk Downhill Jam for the Wii for $29.99.

Just bowled a perfect game!!! Just wanted to share that, since nobody else I tell cares. And this may be the case here, oh well.

We have had one since Christmas, it has been fun (I don't play it that much). My son who just turned 5 is the master, I took it to my parents Easter Sunday and my nephew who is 17 and a gamer couldn't beat him in bowling once (and they played steady). I think Reid averages around 200. What is even better is watching him play tennis by himself on two player mode and he can rally back and forth for quite awhile. I played him tennis yesterday and he kicked my butt.

Good on ya. The best I've done is a seven-pack; I was on a roll and then choked on the eighth frame (I tend to do that in all sports, real and virtual). I still ended up bowling a like a 2600-270ish score.
Have you gotten a strike on the 91 Pins in the bowling training?

Anyone have Super Paper Mario? I like it, but I find it a bit wordy....also, I wish they took advantage of the new movement controls better....

You get one with the Wii. As for a second one...not sure. I'm not a fan of Wii Sports boxing and that's the only two-player game i have that uses it so no need for a second nunchuk.
If there is a good two player game that you enjoy that needs one then obviously buy another. It's pretty cheap ($25).

All depends on the games you want to play. Nearly all my games use the nunchuck, even if they are 1 player only.

But if it's one player you don't need another. The Wii comes with one. So unless you plan to play 2 player games that use the nunchuk there isn't much sense in buying a second one.

Yeah, I've never heard of the cheating way. Do share. With the power toss, I got a strike on it once, which allowed me to get 620 pins total, but I'm not consistent enough to get all the pins down each time.

Ah touche. For some reason that never cross my mind. In that case, unless you intend on having 2+ player games, such as Mario Party 8, then I wouldn't worry about it.

On the 91 Pin Power toss. Go to the very Right side of the lane, and try to bowl the ball down the lane on top of the barrier. There is a piece of dynamite at the end and it blows all the pins up..resulting in 91 X 2 points
