I have a giant atomic clock by the window and that's always my source of truth. I just leave the Microwave clock blank nowadays

I believe in chaos so I just leave the Microwave clock at whatever.

We had a power outage a few weeks ago so its totally out of whack and drives my family crazy, so its got that going for it too.

That question was significantly flawed. It only gave switch or DST not standard time. It didn’t discuss the implementation which is critical that we only stop switching if a significant portion of the states and provinces also stop.

It also lacked a preferential ballot to select between the options as a person ranking of the three choices is certainly not always the same.

Then Apple will build the iMicrowave without a popcorn button, and people will go to the apple store asking why there isn't a popcorn button, and the "genius" will tell you it could have a popcorn button, but that's not how apple believes people should be using mircrowaves. Then someone will discover that if you hit the unlabeled button on the screen it is actually a popcorn button, at which time they will force an update onto the microwaves software rendering all buttons other than the +1minute button useless and calling it a vintage microwave, so that they can release a new version that doesn't have the bug of giving people what they want.
