That really sucks, hopefully he can recover and make the World Cup.
Not good to see any stars missing the cup for their country.
On today's matches, what a blown match by Fulham. Terrible penalty to give away and easy save missed by the keeper.
It's almost like the defender & keeper had money on City.
Fulham looked terrible with the extra man, like they were really trying to hold on for the draw, got what they deserved in the end.

Ridiculously entertaining morning, 19 goals in 4 back and forth games. Leeds leading 1-0 early on, going down to 1-3 and then coming back to win 4-3 with manic scenes of joy with the late winner probably the highlight.

It was definitely a very cowardly effort from Fulham with the extra man for an hour, but Man City's four midfielders worked their asses off all game and deserve a lot of credit. Bernardo Silva is just insane with the work rate, just doesn't stop.

I saw a list of players who would miss next weekend if they get a yellow this weekend and are going to the World Cup. I can’t say I’d be surprised to see some of that as well. Players want to play the WC, and you can’t blame them.

Seems the rule is diving is just fine, as long as there's the most miniscule of contact.
It's plays like that which make people think soccer is such a weak sport.

The only real concern I have with Arsenal at this point is depth, a bad injury run and I'm not sure they have the depth to keep up with Man City. But the top of their lineup is clearly good enough to make a run at the title, continue to look extremely impressive.

Emery at Villa, up 2-0 in 11 minutes against MUFC. Couldn’t ask for a better start for him

I don’t even think it’s bias when I say this…but they’re just not that good. This reminds me of Leicester.

Oh, I think it is bias.
Arsenal have played very well this season and deserve their place in the top two.
Problem is though, they don’t have the depth they need to sustain this, but Arteta has now built up a good enough of a case for adding to the squad during the transfer window to help cement a top four place.
Which will be very important, because Newcastle are serious top four contenders as well.

It’s not a question of whether they’ve played well though. It’s that the team is not as good as that record shows (at least IMO). It’s basically a team that might be top four and somehow they’re top of the table. I have no idea whether it’s sustainable (and hopefully it’s not, because a magnificent crash would be so great to watch!).
I’m not sure though. How many players have they got going to the WC? For a chunk of them, they’re not playing on their national teams and it’s basically a month break?

You'd have to think Howe is gonna get backed big time in January, they're the third best team in the league this season without the kind of spending you expect they would have needed to get there. He's a hell of a manager, with backing in January they look very good for top four.

Haha, I’m not that salty though and surely not crying. I’m taking solace that we’ve got months to go.

Liverpool got away with one today. No way they deserved the three points.
