Well you said it would be nice to make a save. As long as guys aren't being left all alone if front by the defense he is making the saves.

This is not a game to put any blame on the goalie, at all. This is all on the defense, or team defense. It's atrocious.

I'm not a huge fan of Markstrom but this isn't on him.

I fundamentally disagree with this. Elite goalies often make saves that are seemingly unsaveable. It’s a big part of what makes them elite.

The book is out on the Flames IMO. They play around the perimeter and never try to take the puck to the net, so teams let them. Meanwhile the Flames use the same strategy in the defensive zone and play hard on the boards but leave the middle of the ice wide open. It's why all these quick teams just scorch the Flames with 10 bell scoring opportunities leaving our goaltenders hung out to dry. Have to see this team start going to the net instead of playing dump and chase around the boards.
