Asking for a friend.
Why are you so emotionally invested in who I intend to vote for?

I think we all just want our elected officials to show some semblance of couth and not embarrass us. There are ways to do your job without coming off like a basic moron.

Maybe Owl should come up with a version of Goofus and Gallant to help guide political leaders in their communications with the public.

This ship has sailed.

Every single electable official is a clown in their own right, close your eyes and pick a Circus.

Our Prime Minister likes Blackface and dressing like a Bollywood actor when he goes abroad. Embarrassing? Afraid so. But we elected him anyways and he still has a job to do.

It hasn’t sailed and there are particular parties who seem to step their foot in it all the time.

Also, yeah, before he was elected. Give us a recent that a liberal or ndp official has said that made you cringe.

Also, we can all go back and look at peoples’ perception of blackface on here if you’d like to remember how most people were cool with it and defending NHL players who did it, up to just a few years ago.

Do I have to post Trudeau's photos from India? Again? Really?

It was silly, but not belligerency at every turn.

Trudeau must be killing it, if recent is 4.5 years ago!

I think arrivecan made a few select people very rich for doing very little work. And we don't even know where most of the money went.

The two partners of an Ottawa firm that was the largest single contractor on the federal government’s controversial ArriveCan app say they personally earned between $1.3 million and $2.7 million for hiring and assembling a programming team.

Federal student loans to become interest free, Freeland says in fiscal update

Quote:
Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland has announced plans to erase the interest on federal student and apprentice loans as part of the government’s fall fiscal update.

The move, made amid soaring living costs and the threat of a looming recession, would bring relief to many budget-strapped young Canadians who’ve been borrowing to finance their education. The measure, if implemented, would kick in on April 1, the day after a temporary freeze on the accrual of interest on federal student loans is set to expire.

It would make the loans interest free at that point and apply to those currently being repaid as well.

How about him drunkenly singing Bohemian Rhapsody in a bar, when he traveled to England to Represent Canada at the Queens Funeral?

I thought that was one of the most honest thing he's done in years.

Complete nothing burger. Getting drunk and singing karaoke is one of the few likable things I've seen from Trudeau, that and building an outdoor rink on Parliament Hill. Now if you said "Taking the private jet to go surfing in Tofino and the National day for Truth and Reconciliation" you might be on to something.

I am 100% for any and all JT bashing. Same with the next PM. it is our job to hold politicians accountable. In fact, every time I don't vote for the CPC I feel like I am holding them accountable. Push a candidate that will not compromise on modern Canadian values and will refuse to brand themselves as the same as regressive bigots, and you will have a person fit to govern, but here we are. waiting again.
