Too many good pieces for this to be an average team.

That being said, advertisity is good.

Its just bad luck, they didnt get pucks in deep, its going to be fine. All good.

They'll just loosen their grips on their sticks and the wins will start rolling in!

Super sloppy game. This homestand is a killer and literally the worst time of the season to have one. The lack of games and being home for over a month save for one night in Edmonton is not great for a team looking to bond and gel. They just looked terrible the past couple of games with brutal brain farts.

That’s part of your problem

Sutter falling in love with 4th liners and Stone way too much

I honestly don't remember did stone cause any goals against tonight? Otherwise I have zero issue with putting Stone in offensive situations he actually generates chances unlike Hanifin who's a master of putting it into the goalies chest.

A lot of perimeter shots, when guys try to go to the middle they keep trying slow toe drag type wrist shots, no one is going to the net, very few are forechecking with any kind of urgency.

Put Dube back on the second, put Rooney on the third, go back to the first line. If they want to get a left handed shot on the first line, fine, maybe just try swapping Mangiapane and Toffoli...

We need another winger who can pass well. That’s the biggest missing piece. And please keep Looch out of the top 6

It's not like the Flames were peppering him though. Markstrom made way more impressive saves. The Flames screwed up way too many good chances.

Why is stone out there at the end? Pretty sure other teams have scouted his one timer.
Multiple blocks on his shot. So frustrating, so many better options just sitting on the bench. Only thing that didn’t ruin the night completely is the Oilers
7 second collapse lol

could have a good road trip of bonding and gelling but would really help get it off on the right foot by winning Saturday

they need something to feel good about . they are making hockey look like a chore the last couple .. chins up lads, you're wealthy and get to play a game for work

Yeah the Flames barely had any chances...this isn't like the last two losses at all

Until Huber finds his game, let him play with Backlund and Coleman and play them against other teams top lines. Let Kadri and Lindholm line score.
Huber-Backlund-Coleman
Mangi-Kadri-Toffoli
Dube-Lindholm-Rich
Lucic-Ruz-Lewis

Man I know it's early, but Huber has shown nothing....it's not even a chemistry thing for me....he just is not playing remotely close to a 10 million player

They had only 3 shots for half the game. You think Sutter would have got the blender out.
