This whole “smartest guy in the room” thing is so over used. What do you even mean by that? He’s got a coaching style that he sticks pretty adamantly to… this is on the players not executing.

Team looks completely disinterested. They are stale playing so much at home. Terrible slot play, terrible defensive zone play, terrible offensive instincts. Just yuck.

They were good against Edmonton until the tying goal. Did a good job minimizing McAvi, then just fell apart. I don’t understand these lines, it’s made everything worse.

The line changes were a weird overreaction to the loss to Edmonton. I advocated for a change earlier but they changed them right when things looked like they were starting to click IMO.
And they also just look like a complacent team that has spent too much time with families at home
