Every time I try to listen to the Fan lately, I either get a commercial or some gambling segment, so I haven't bothered in a while...but yesterday I gave it a shot again and landed on this exact moment with Wills going on about Markstrom. It was awful, even for Wills. I could only stomach about 2 minutes of it before turning it off.

It is for now, Lucic has been one of the better forwards this season
also lines 2/3 are basically interchangeable. I am listening right now and he is saying he can't see Lucic there long term but maybe okay for a game or two. "just fine" seems like a stetch.
these guys do have a point
Flames have the hardest strength of schedule and one of the best records in the NHL. Why be negative?
Best start in franchise history is nothing to panic about IMO

Second Barb Burner I've watched and I'm sold. Enjoyed Seraveli on it. He clearly likes those guys. Just heard Serveli with Pat and a few minutes ago and while a good interview and somewhat light IMHO Boomer and his plas were better by a mile.
I'll be watching more of that Podcast.

Had a slow, snowy drive into work this morning. As soon as they opened the phone lines I turned it off -- no thank you.
Also, apparently Russic met Beesley yesterday and floated the idea of having him come on to read "mean Leafs, Oilers and Canucks tweets". Not surprisingly, he said Beesley shot it down immediately.

Yeah I'm done with the show I think. Don't hate Russic or Rose but the game shows and callers all the time are brutal.

Oh man, so brutal! I'd imagine travelling with the team would be one of the greatest perks of the job, as long as you don't have a young family at home or something like that. Rogers is so cheap, my respect level for that company is basically nonexistent at this point.

Great product Rogers is putting out. Radio PBP team isn't even allowed to go to road games.
Wills (rightfully) complains about not being able to communicate effectively when he can't see all of the action. Thank you, Rogers. Love to see it.

Can someone remind me of the relationship between the Flames, the Radio PBP folks and Rogers?
Because Rogers has the rights to Flames games, but like if they in theory moved to say Corus and 770 the PBP team would move with the rights? I guess I'm trying to remember who has the larger say, and the degree of cost sharing in Flames games on the radio

It has to be brutal to try to do your job and know that you are basically unable to do it the best you can because of obvious stupidity/cheapness by Rogers. Despite what anyone thinks about Wills and his PBP (or whatever), whoever is in that role is behind the eight ball before they even get started.

You made the right call. 15 minutes of people calling in to win tickets to the game. And what's with the "it could be this or that" game, that game is just painful to sit through.
