Man, watching Kadri live this guy is so much better than I ever gave him credit for.

Vladar has given up 2 goals on 0.54 xG 5-on-5. If Markstrom gave up those 2 same goals, this thread would be filled with "Marky is washed up" posts...

			Better period. More of that.
Also need to stop giving up odd man rushes. Quite a few so far this game. One burned us eventually

The Flames have barely played games in the last week. I think that's the reason for their timing looking off. They'll get back into regular games being played by Thursday and then Saturday and I suspect will look much better. Still tied, so it's not all bad.

Uh, I think your take would be slightly different if Markstrom was in net. He has been fine but it's not like he is keeping them in it

I think the team speed is still a bit slow and that is what has held us back the most
some individual players are playing with speed (Kadri, dube) , but the rest of the group is too slow moving up the ice as a unit once they gain the puck and it lends to turnovers thr other way from center ice

Lots of shots but very few scoring chances. Just like the oilers game.

That stat ignores the save on the short-handed rush, because he gets no credit for it. When a quarter of the game isn't at 5v5 it gets distorted.

Is Seattle in BC or AB? if not Markstrom would be pitching a shutout.

Still gelling as a group, it's acutely obvious coming off last season where everyone generally knew where each other was on the ice. Daccord doing a pretty good job of holding down the fort for Seattle back there.
