I'm with you Jiri. I never did quite figure out, why at all, the Jays always kept this guy around. Not for the life of me. Shows to with only getting a minor league deal from the MEts....

Woodward was kept around for one simple reason: He was a cheap fill in who's lifespan with the Jays was always going to exist between the trade of the grossly overpaid Alex Gonzalez, and when Adams was ready to come up.
