The path to a Calgary win is to try to keep Rourke off the field and the best way to do that is via Carey and Mills/Logan running the ball (I hope it's Mills because he has been dynamite the last couple of games). Also, the return of Titus Wall to the Stamps secondary is going to really help the pass defense, in my opinion.

The big part of that game plan is we have to finish drives, we kick way too many field goals and that will not be enough against a high-powered offence.

I would really be surprised if DD didnt go to Bo before the game and ask him his thoughts and i would bet thar BO did not want a big send off. Just my thoughts. i dont see DD not communicating with him regarding the final game.

^^ Bo said that he told DD that he didn't want a big send off, and even went as far to say that if he didn't get in not to blame DD.
I'm glad they got Stevens some playing time, not necessarily to see his throwing ability (as he's still QB3 behind Maier and Bo) but potentially in some special run packages. I bet we see some more of that in the playoffs.

The upper bowl will be open at BC Place for the West semi-final. I hope the Stamps send them home disappointed.

The buildup to the game of slurping Rourke is going to be bad.

To be fair it's a good story being a CDN QB that's actually really good and a league dying for any good news stories they can get their hands on.

Yeah, EE is right, with all the stumbling and bumbling from the top league executives (still hard to believe we don't know who the Grey Cup halftime act will be), Rourke is the story the league needs to keep people engaged. Gary Stern is also doing a good job promoting the CFL, I wouldn't mind seeing the Als make a run to the Grey Cup game in all honesty.
/They can lose to the Stamps in Regina

Rourke brought me out to McMahon for the first time in 8 years this year.
Watching the CFL for decades I never thought a Canadian QB would ever be a weekly starter in the CFL. but for him to start and put out those kind of numbers, that was amazing.
Just hope he is still rusty this week.

Yes, I think it's fair to say I enjoyed his work in Regina just as much as I did in Edmonton.

The deep ball prayer offense only works when you have a QB that can throw it deep and a tall WR that can make contested catches. That was the recipe in Edmonton but Riders didn't have the players to pull it off so Maas had to run a regular offense. Fajardo can't throw the deep ball and Duke Williams isn't who he used to be.
