The Leafs have agreed to a "deal" to send Nazem Kadri, Tyler Bozak, and Brendan Smith to San Jose for Darnell Nurse, Sam Bennett, and Oliver Bjorkstrand.

The Leafs feel we have upgraded the depth of our team to fulfill San Jose's man crush on Kadri.

In Kadri we lose a 2nd line center who is severely overrated in the pool, and Tyler Bozak, who is a great PKer who hasn't told his wife he retired yet. I just googled Brendan Smith to see who he is and his mom immediately called me to tell me he's not bad. Plus, they all sell drugs to kids.

In Bennett, Bjorkstrand and Nurse we get three upstanding citizens who enjoy playing hockey and do not sell drugs to kids. Maybe.

Start the year 8-1-0 and that one loss was unacceptable so we needed to make changes. Paid a premium for Kadri but he’s a guy we really wanted and happy to have him.

I’d thank Quigz for the trade talks but he was a real pain to deal with and very greedy. 1 star review.
