The bulk of the negative critics seem to be going on about how Black Adam is too much of an action movie? I really don't get what people expect here. I'm all for the occasional big dumb action flick, as long as it isn't trying to be anything more and the effects actually look good.
Well, it depends, right? Mad Max: Fury Road is basically non stop action and it's amazing. Dredd (2012), same deal. It can be done well, or... not.

With the news yesterday that Henry Cavill is returning for more Superman projects in the future the DCEU looks to be continuing for a while longer. Black Adam was the 12th movie and we have 4 more DCEU films either completed or very close to being done. Have to imagine James Gunn returns to direct another movie now as well.
Big news for DC. Gunn has done great things. Sounds like he will be involved in over seeing the creative side but will also be running his own projects directly. This is also an exclusive deal for four years. So no more GOTG for him.

Absolutely devastating news Kevin Conroy THE voice of Batman has passed away. Whenever I read Batman comics it's his voice that I hear, his work on Batman the animated series defined the character for me and an entire generation.
