Amazing how fast that all happens. The missile makes contact, and the pilot is immediately ejected and then the plane crashes a moment later. No chance to try and bring the plane under control. I guess the sensors just recognize it's an immediate lost cause and try to save the pilot ASAP.

Earlier today, the defense ministers of each of our countries spoke to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu at his request. Our countries made clear that we all reject Russia’s transparently false allegations that Ukraine is preparing to use a dirty bomb on its own territory. The world would see through any attempt to use this allegation as a pretext for escalation. We further reject any pretext for escalation by Russia.

Looks like he was also calling to spread more filthy Russian lies.

That is what I was thinking, but I don't know a lot about different kinds of mines. Intuitively I just think that the purpose of a mine would be to destroy a vehicle or kill people, not just hurt their feet. If it is Russian made though, it could just be a crappy mine.

got to admit, when I first saw the clip of him getting medical treatment I thought he got off with pretty minor injuries for a mine designed to maim people.

In normal armies it is worse to injure to the point that the individual doesn’t die but can’t re-habilitate to return to service.

A dead soldier is easily dealt with, a wounded soldier sucks up resources.

Fascinating read and a reminder that this isn't simply Putin's war. There is an entire army of people who handle information, logistics, decision making, control and button pushing. Very much a team of dedicated ####bags who control when, where and how missiles fly at innocent civilians.


Hopefully this vermin is tracked down and eliminated, therefore making the world a better place.

^^^ Any time someone tries to sell themselves as a geopolitical expert but then says "the Ukraine", I immediately have to question either their knowledge or their intent.

Looking at another thread of his, he says that the people of "the Ukraine" over throwing their previous president was a coup conducted by MI6 and Langley, so he obviously has an agenda.
