I'd prefer a Monohan.

People complain about our wingers the Penguins left and right side is ugly. Rakell is decent but he is always injured. That's why having a deep group down the middle wins you cups they make the most out of the wingers they have.

I know we shouldn't always believe the things Sutter says to the media, but I wonder if this means Vladar gets his second game of the year vs the Oilers based on his "one game a week" target for Vladar?

I seriously doubt it. I suspect the takeaway from Sutter's earlier comments is that they want Vladar starting more games, and have ideally targeted him for 25 games, which is the equivalent if 1x per week. The home-heavy schedule with multiple-day spreads between games complicates this, but I suspect Vladar will get more starts later when the team is on the road more, and with fewer days between games.

I would expect Markstrom to start Saturday.

Crosby and Malkin must be retiring tomorrow after we own them tonight.

Also, kid playing his first NHL game. What's the likelihood he also scores?

True, Pavelski is proof that players can stay very productive into their late 30s. So my comment was dumb no matter which way you slice it.
