Exactly, Smith has a long history as a mouthpiece, makes poor decisions, carries a grudge, loser at most things she attempts.

Funny how the things she DOESN'T attempt is her most memorable work too:

Meh, that was brilliant marketing. No way that "accidentally" slipped through the proof. They knew what they were doing and got loads of free publicity.

Free publicity and perfect deniability. It doesnt get much sweeter than that.

I don't disagree. You see it all the time now with purposefully misspelled or provoking tweets that are basically bait as well. Social media algorithms rewards negative engagement just as much as they rewards positive.
Now, you could probably argue whether that free marketing presents you as competent....

Yeah, Starbucks for sure worked this. I think it was great for the Wildrose here though. They didn't look incompetent as a result of that, and it would be hard to argue it hurt them at all.

Danielle Smith: Begins her tenure as Premier by crapping all over AHS, claims they are faking labour shortages, and generally throws the whole system under the bus.
Macman: I think we should give her a chance. What if doing everything you can to send medical practitioners fleeing your province, is a winning strategy for recruiting/retaining staff and increasing the availability of healthcare?

She certainly seems to have large chips on her shoulders...I bet she is a nightmare in a meeting if you openly disagree with her.

You're right though, all AHS workers are the best there is, can we award them land and titles? Lordships and serfs?

This is actually right at the core of the issue. I can see the doctors and such hating this government, and I completely get that. But in my dealing with AHS, purely as "user" there are pretty obvious issues there. I'm not a healthcare expert or anything like that, and wouldn't try to pretend to be one. I just see some of the bureaucracy and logjams and there has to be a better structure.

There's a whole lot of daylight between you claiming I think there are no problems with AHS, and the Premier of this province taking the most adversarial approach to the organization that she can.
Sure we could discuss the fact that Danielle smith thinks the way to fix any problems is to pick a fight with the people you need to help you fix that problem, or you know, you could pretend I said there were absolutely no problems with AHS, either one is pretty productive.

Sure. We could do all of that and have a ball. But who was the last person that actually tried real, honest reform of AHS?
Face it. They are too big too fail. They do whatever they want. What you're doing is stroking them off and turning a blind eye to shortcomings and what Smith is doing is essentially prepping her molotov cocktails.
Both methods are wrong.
But yeah, please...continue with 'Both sides, many sides.' Its going really well.

Then fix the bureaucracy and logjams, but nothing about pissing off practitioners and nurses is fixing that.

Dude, what I'm saying is that creating an openly hostile environment, and openly antagonizing the actual workers at AHS (doctors, nurses, etc), is a horrible way to affect any meaningful and/or positive change.
Kenney was doing the same thing, which made things worse, and now Danielle Smith is ratcheting it up to 10, and she thinks somehow that'll bring about positive change. How does that help things?
She's doubling down on a completely stupid strategy because she has an ax to grind.
I'm not both sides-ing anything. Except for a 3 year span, there's only been 1 side that has had any say in the situation, and they, under Danielle Smith, seem determined to make things worse.

I love the boogeyman of getting your freedoms back, while living in one of the top 5 most free countries in the world. A lot of people fall for that stuff, too. 'Common sense' education is a funny one, too.
