Tomorrow won't be much better with Justin Fields vs a 3rd string rookie.

hated the Pickett pick when it happened and my feelings haven't exactly changed. I can live with dumb rookie mistakes if I see potential, but I just don't see that with Pickett ... of course he's saddled with a piss-poor OC, but he has young talent around him (George Pickens is outstanding!) and the OL is actually doing better than anticipated. Maybe he'll make a jump at some point, but I'm not holding my breath.
game was more than winable after the D adjusted. Sutton and Wallace dropped easy INTs, but they still had the game in their hands late before Pickett threw the dumb picks. Oh well. I'll take the close losses over the blowouts, and it improves the draft pick too. The season is a write off anyway.

Most games come down to a few big plays and they all went the Dolphins way. Those two dropped interceptions were costly. I don’t understand how CB’s drop so many gift wrapped interceptions. Catching balls thrown right into your waiting hands is a fundamental thing.

Maybe when Tyreek insisted Tua was more accurate than Mahomes he meant more accurate at throwing to defenders. On a related note, Mahomes is on pace for 5200 yards and 49 TDs, and probably has no shot at MVP. Pretty ridiculous standard he's established for himself.

Josh Allen is great, but at this point of the season Mahomes should be MVP IMO.
He seems to make just unbelievable plays out of nothing every week. Lost his star WR (that leads the league in receiving yards) and hasn't missed a beat.

CBs are failed receivers

No shock, he's clearly in the noodle arm portion of his career and has negative mobility. Ehlinger might not be good either, but at least he has mobility to survive that atrocious line.

Overrated, or overachieving? They were a 3 point dog on the road against a team coming into that game with a 2-4 record and have been a dog in 5 of 7 games.
I don't hear anyone crowning the Giants as Superbowl bound. Most of what I hear is that they don't look to be as good as their record. But they're not the same bad team they had been for 5 years.
The Seahawks are a three point favorite in that right now. So are you upset it's not 7?

I didn’t think the Colts would bail on Ryan this fast but it’s a cautionary tale that for every Tom Brady there’s hundreds of starting QB’s that were done by their mid-30’s. What’s interesting here is that the Colts bet on another aging QB with declining arm strength two seasons removed from watching Rivers throw fluttering wobblers.

Wasn't a lot of other options to "bet" on is the real issue.
They were hoping they could run out the same team as last year and get QB play 20% better then last season.
The bet very wrong on both aspects

Mac Jones just got benched for Zappe, oh boy...
UPDATE: And Zappe almost immediately throws a long bomb TD after Jones got shut out until he got benched. Wow

Yeah, Mac Jones is on his way to that first round pick recycle bin.

Fields penchant for following up an amazing play with a garbage play would be maddening to cheer for

Gonna be fun to see what the Colts give up to trade for Mac Jones.
