The Padres have become the Dodgers. Can't hit the ball.

The Astros bullpen is just incredible. And Dusty doesn't seem to want to use Stanek much who was incredible all year with a 1.12 ERA.

Feels like the Astros are gonna go 11-0 and win the Series. Yankees are not good, Padres and Phillies even worse. Extremely boring postseason overall, not that Astros fans are gonna care.

You saying that Senator now makes me nervous.

Anyway Altuve finally gets a hit and Judge with a chance to make a huge impact grounds out weakly.

This really is the Trashtro's title to lose. Here's to hoping that the Phillies(Padre's?) pull off some Nat's magic and stop the cheaters.

Also very refreshing to see Judge struggle. He's pretty much Adam Dunn playing in a little league stadium. A great power hitter for sure, but is he an all time great? Probably not. Wouldn't be surprised if his career numbers finish in the Bautista territory of ~350 HR's and ~800 RBIs.

I am cheering against the Yankees but curious, why is it “refreshing” to see Judge struggle? I haven’t heard him referred to as an all time great by anyone knowledgeable of the sport. But he certainly had an all time great season.

Ha ha ha. The Padres bullpen has gone from unstoppable vs the Dodgers to a laughing stock vs the Phillies.

Note to self: never bet on baseball.

Well ask any Yankee fan and he's an all time great .

It's refreshing because his season was bananas and hardly the norm. So it's nice to see him take a step back. And subsequently so have the Yankees. I have a bias for sure. But he's a true outcome hitter who got extremely lucky and parlayed into a half billion dollar contract. Which is going to be equally delicious when he's injured or regresses.

Should’ve gone to your star closer in Hader to pitch to Harper in an elimination game, but no.

2 run HR instead and now Padres are behind going into 9th.

So Padres likely to get eliminated and their closer has only pitched one inning in this series? The games have been close too.

Did someone forget this was the playoffs? That’s awful.

Well most games this series they were behind except for their win, and it was comfortable lead. Up by a run in the 8th in a elimination game is automatic though against the best hitter on the other team if you aren’t going to walk him.

He pitched in their win IIRC. Point is that he was rested coming into this game and this situation certainly could have called for a 2 inning save. You just can’t go out with unspent bullets in the chamber like that. It would be a different story he had been used extensively before tonight.

Phillies vs Astros fall classic. Have to go with the Phils after all we've just seen.

Lol I doubt many people would have picked the Phillies to come out of the NL before the playoffs started.
